Mr. Wasantha Nayanananda

Mr. Wasantha Nayanananda is a leading educator with practical experience in educational management, authorship, and the application of modern technologies. Having completed his school education at Gankanda Central College, Pelmadulla, and studying for his G.C.E. Advanced Level in the Science stream for his second attempt at Regency Boarding School, he holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from The Open University of Sri Lanka and has successfully completed a certificate course in "Scientific Writing and the Scientific Method" at the University of Peradeniya. He has also undertaken studies in psychological educational counseling.

Having served as an Ordinary Level (O/L) Mathematics tuition teacher for over 10 years, he has contributed significantly to improving students' mathematical knowledge and examination results in Kandy and Pelmadulla. As the pioneer of Sri Lanka's first residential intensive mathematics revision program, he succeeded in fostering a generation of students who learn mathematics with genuine enthusiasm. Furthermore, he has authored numerous educational books aligned with the school mathematics syllabus.

On the professional management front, he has served successfully for three years as a Manager at the Regency Residential Education Network and holds specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and its practical applications for management. Leveraging this expertise, he actively serves as a key resource person in formulating the new Regency educational reforms.
