Our story began on February 11, 2006, with the establishment of the ICST in Ambathenna, Kandy. Founded with a vision to make the children who are full of skills striving to win the new world like gems and become grate in the world at a young age, the institute quickly gained a reputation for academic excellence. Driven by a rapidly growing student community and the trust of parents, we successfully expanded our footprint in 2010 by opening our first branch in Matale, marking the initial step in our journey towards becoming a premier educational network.

As the institute evolved to meet modern educational demands, ICST underwent a strategic transformation, rebranding itself as the Regency Boarding School to reflect a more holistic approach to student development. A monumental milestone was achieved on February 11, 2020—exactly fourteen years after our inception—when the institution relocated to its current, state-of-the-art campus in Morankanda, Bokkawala.

The move to our permanent home in Bokkawala brought a massive expansion in our academic offerings. Building upon our established success in Advanced Level (A/L) streams—including Science, Commerce, Technology, and Arts—we diversified our curriculum to cater to learners of all ages. This saw the successful introduction of Primary, Beginner, Intermediate, and Ordinary Level (O/L) divisions, transforming Regency into a comprehensive educational sanctuary providing a seamless learning pathway from childhood to young adulthood.
Strengthened by decades of academic triumph, the institution flourished into the Regency School Network. The year 2024 marked a golden era of rapid expansion. On May 7, 2024, we proudly inaugurated Regency Day School - Kandy, followed swiftly by the grand opening of Regency Day School - Kurunegala on July 2, 2024.Today, the Regency School Network stands tall as a beacon of knowledge, nurturing an vibrant community of 600+ students guided by a dedicated faculty of 200+ expert educators. We remain deeply committed to shaping the leaders of tomorrow with wisdom, discipline, and innovation.
